Notes re: Covid Protocol Pool.
1. There will be one-way traffic flow when entering the facility. Entry onto the pool deck will be through the viewing area. You will exit through the changerooms.
2. Changerooms will not be available before the swim. Students are asked to come to the pool wearing their swimwear and carrying minimal belongings with them.
3. Lockers will be closed at this time. There will be plastic containers in a designated area along the pool deck for you to store your belongings. Containers are sanitized after each use.
4. Face coverings are not permitted in the water, but they may be worn elsewhere in the facility.
5. The spectator seating area has been closed. If students are not actively participating in the swim, we ask that they remain at school.
6. Please maintain physical distancing according to the class and school district guidelines.
a. If class guidelines require 6 feet or 2 meters of distance between students,
the following maximums capacities are in effect:
· Men’s changeroom = 13 people
· Women’s changeroom = 13 people
· Universal changeroom = 1 person per changeroom
7. Solid yellow lines on the pool deck indicate “Lifeguard-only” zones. Please be respectful of physical distancing with staff.
8. Please shower before entering the pool. - by sauna.
9. All regular Aquatic Centre rules still apply.

Swim Lane WorkOut
Workout 1 (roughly 24 laps)
Swim 50 yards (two laps) to warm up, then grab a kickboard and kick 150 yards (six laps). Assess how comfortable you feel in the water.
For your main set, swim a series of 50s (two laps) at a moderate pace with 20-30 seconds rest in between each set. Repeat this for about 20-30 minutes until you reach 20 total laps. Options for strokes - start - 2 breast stroke, 2 front crawl, 2 backstroke - then repeat.
Cool down with an easy four laps.
Remainder of time - free play (if lifeguards give the go ahead) in lazy river pool. No horse play, etc. All rules of the pool still apply.
